Hats With a Powerful Purpose
Our founder, Brandi Voth began mentoring survivors of human trafficking in 2017. As a business coach, she helped mentees create a vocational plan, but along the way, she quickly realized the need for businesses to create opportunities for survivors to gain marketable business skills and references while receiving gap income.
With a love of hats and passion to help others, she created The Power Hat Co. in 2020. This social enterprise provides transitional employment to survivors of human trafficking.

The Hats
A lifetime love of hats led to Brandi designing this hat line that is emboldened, points women to their identity, and encourages them to take bold steps of faith. Each hat is designed by Brandi and ethically sourced.
#BandanasWithAPurpose
Handwoven Bandanas
Each hat is adorned with a bandana that is woven by a cooperative of Indigenous Mayan women in Guatemala. Through strategic partnerships, these artisans are provided income, education, and social programs.

Power Bands
Each of our leather hat bands are hand-stamped with power words by survivors of human trafficking. Empowered, Worthy, Strong, Brave, and Warrior are among the selection of power words.
